Carla
Gerald joined the AVMA Trust as Senior Accountant in September of 2023. Carla
has over 35 years of experience in accounting and consulting for both public
and private companies. Specializing mainly in
service industries, Carla has held managerial and controllership positions in
healthcare, educational publishing, and several software start-up companies.
Carla is excited to
bring her knowledge of software systems and month-end close practices to the
Trust, to facilitate the timely, accurate reporting of financial activities to
management.
Carla
currently resides in Illinois with her husband but lived in Southern California
for 11 years, where her two children were born. When she’s not working, Carla
enjoys camping, reading, visiting family and friends, all the while patiently
waiting for grandchildren.
