Anthony DeVito, JD., Head of Legal Services, brings an impressive background in representing clients across multiple industries, recently serving as a partner at Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP. In this role, he managed complex litigation cases and
provided strategic counsel on professional liability, licensing investigations, regulatory compliance, and insurance matters. His work as national coordinating counsel for a veterinary professional licensing defense program from 2016 to 2022 demonstrates
his leadership and legal acumen.
Anthony’s career also includes significant regulatory experience, having served as a staff attorney at the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, where he prosecuted cases against professional license holders and worked on legislative
initiatives. He used that experience to then work as a defense attorney for professionals, including veterinarians, who were facing Board complaints and malpractice claims.
Anthony earned his Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from The John Marshall Law School and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Drake University. His dedication to the law and his deep understanding of the veterinary professional
